Electronics Engineer (Motor Drive & Power)
Own the electronics that move and power the robot: motor drives, power distribution, battery interface and on-board compute integration.
Key responsibilities
- Design and bring up motor drive, power distribution and battery management electronics.
- Own schematic capture, PCB layout review, EMC and safety compliance.
- Integrate the on-board compute and sensor buses.
- Support test, debug and design changes through to production.
Requirements
Power and motor-drive electronics design; schematic and PCB work; EMC and electrical safety; hardware bring-up and debug on real prototypes.
Where you would work
The UK humanoid lab and assembly line: MOTHER EXO robotics design, build and test, coming online Q1 2027 and targeting 1,000 robots a year on a sovereign supply chain.
