Key responsibilities

  • Own process design, station layout, tooling and takt for humanoid assembly.
  • Lead the industrialisation of designs coming out of engineering.
  • Own capital equipment selection and installation.
  • Drive yield, cycle time and cost per unit.

Requirements

Manufacturing engineering leadership; NPI through to volume; lean and process design; complex electromechanical assembly; automotive, aerospace or robotics background.

Where you would work

The UK humanoid lab and assembly line: MOTHER EXO robotics design, build and test, coming online Q1 2027 and targeting 1,000 robots a year on a sovereign supply chain.

The Manchester factory comes online Q1 2027. Roles are recruited ahead of that date, with start dates agreed individually.
