Robotics Assembly Technician

Key responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical subassemblies to drawing and work instruction.
• Install actuators, harnesses and sensors; torque and record to specification.
• Carry out first power-on and functional checks.
• Feed build issues back to manufacturing engineering.

Requirements

Mechanical or electromechanical assembly experience; able to work to drawings and work instructions; careful, methodical and happy on a new line where the process is still settling.

Where you would work

The UK humanoid lab and assembly line: MOTHER EXO robotics design, build and test, coming online Q1 2027 and targeting 1,000 robots a year on a sovereign supply chain.

The Manchester factory comes online Q1 2027. Roles are recruited ahead of that date, with start dates agreed individually.
