Robotics Systems Engineer (Humanoid Platform)
Own the humanoid as a system: the 60 degrees of freedom, the mass and power budgets, and the interfaces every other discipline builds against.
Key responsibilities
- Own the system architecture, DOF allocation and interface control across the platform.
- Hold the mass, power, thermal and compute budgets and arbitrate between them.
- Drive requirements from mission down to subsystem and back up through verification.
- Lead integration bring-up of new builds on the lab floor.
Requirements
Systems engineering on a complex electromechanical product; kinematics and dynamics; budget ownership across disciplines; robotics or humanoid experience strongly preferred.
Where you would work
The UK humanoid lab and assembly line: MOTHER EXO robotics design, build and test, coming online Q1 2027 and targeting 1,000 robots a year on a sovereign supply chain.
