Simulation & Sim-to-Real Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-fidelity physics simulation of the humanoid and its environments.
• Own system identification so the model matches measured hardware.
• Run domain randomisation and transfer experiments; quantify the sim-to-real gap.
• Provide the scaled simulation infrastructure the training runs depend on.

Requirements

Physics simulation for robotics (Isaac, MuJoCo, Gazebo or similar); system identification; contact and actuator modelling; large-scale parallel simulation.

Where you would work

The UK humanoid lab and assembly line: MOTHER EXO robotics design, build and test, coming online Q1 2027 and targeting 1,000 robots a year on a sovereign supply chain.

The Manchester factory comes online Q1 2027. Roles are recruited ahead of that date, with start dates agreed individually.
