Teleoperation & Data Collection Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Build and run teleoperation rigs for whole-body and manipulation data collection.
• Own the data pipeline: capture, sync, validate, label and version.
• Run structured collection campaigns against model gaps.
• Maintain provenance so every training record can be traced to its session.

Requirements

Robotics software and data engineering; ROS2; multi-sensor time synchronisation; hands-on with teleoperation hardware; obsessive about data quality and provenance.

Where you would work

The UK humanoid lab and assembly line: MOTHER EXO robotics design, build and test, coming online Q1 2027 and targeting 1,000 robots a year on a sovereign supply chain.

The Manchester factory comes online Q1 2027. Roles are recruited ahead of that date, with start dates agreed individually.
